Air Pollution in your HOME

As the public recognizes the importance of healthy, comfortable, and productive indoor environments, their awareness and demand for good indoor air quality (IAQ) increases. This demand has resulted in IAQ emerging as a major concern in office buildings. Many office buildings have significant indoor air pollution sources. Factors contributing to indoor air pollution include the location of air intake; building design; building materials and furnishings; and indoor activities.

The commonest cause of poor indoor air include the presence of indoor air pollutant, improper designed and poor maintenance or operation of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system People generally have less control over the indoor environment in their offices than they do in their homes.
