Curtain Styles

Why are curtains so important in the look of a room? Put simply, curtains complete the home decoration and add a dramatic focal point to the whole ambience. It changes the look and feel of any room. But with so many styles and types available in the market, how do you decide which will suit your room? Let us help you. Eyelet Curtain This is the Eyelet curtain. Known for its scalloped border, it has curtain poles with a row of eyelet metals that vary in diameter. Installation is easy as the header can be hung quickly and easily on a curtain pole. Eyelet curtains can be used with fabric, leather or lace in contemporary living rooms.   Pinch PleatPinch Pleat is a decorating heading used with all types of curtain track and pole. Many sew pleats on the curtains for a more luxurious look. When ordering pinch pleat curtains, make sure the curtain hook is fully adjustable for ease of use. Because pleats require more widths, they can be a bit more expensive than other curtains. Tab TopIf you prefer a different look, go for the Tab Top heading style. Their tab style is made from the same fabric as the curtains. Compared to other headings, Tab Top requires fewer widths of fabric. This makes it more economical. English Look   For a stylish English look, Ruffled curtains may be your choice. Here, ruffles are attached to the seams of the curtains for a delicate look. Bear in mind that this type of curtain is not suitable if you have a house filled with boys! Whichever you choose, just bear in mind the purpose. If you want privacy, get heavier curtains. If you want to accent the room, go for sheer ones. They would not block out light but they are a beautiful addition to the room. As with other things in life, having a clear goal or purpose will not de-rail your intentions and will help you decide on what’s best!
